Leisha learned how to sew from a young age with the help of her mom, but it wasn't until 2001 that her mom taught her how to make her first quilt. In the fall of 2003 her mom decided it was time to buy them a longarm quilting machine, to start quilting their own quilts. In the summer of 2005, after living in Virginia for a year, Leisha started experimenting with the quilting machine. The word got out, and soon she started quilting for others. In 2012 she started quilting for My Girlfriends Quilt Shoppe, here in Logan Utah. With that, new opportunities came her way, and several new clients. In the fall of 2013, Leisha along with her aunt Kristin Andersen of Sisters and Quilters were published in "Quilt" magazine. Along with machine quilting, Leisha has recently started to design pantographs with Patricia Ritter from Urban Elementz. Leisha lives is beautiful Cache Valley, Utah.
